As an ENT specialist, I treat all conditions related to the ear such as ear infections, hearing problems, ear wax, dizziness, etc. For the nose, I address nasal obstruction, allergic rhinitis & sinusitis, polyps, etc. In the head & neck area, I treat thyroid-related problems, tumors, tonsillitis, adenoids, snoring, sleep apnea, salivary gland problems, etc.
We offer a variety of services related to ear, nose, and throat issues. Apart from basic consultation, we provide ear & nose endoscopy and videolaryngoscopy. We also offer sterile ear piercing services.
If you have any complaints related to the ear, nose, throat, or head & neck (except eyes), you should visit an ENT specialist. Common problems include:
  • Ear: Earache, ear discharge, fullness of ear, decreased hearing, giddiness, ringing sound in ear, sudden loss of hearing, etc.
  • Nose: Nasal blockage, running nose, bleeding from nose, nasal & facial injuries, excessive sneezing, etc.
  • Throat: Swallowing difficulty, voice change, neck swelling, tongue swellings, deviation of mouth, etc.
Answer: Common symptoms include:
  • Sudden loss of hearing
  • Deviation of mouth
  • Foreign body in ear, nose, or throat
  • Sudden swelling anywhere in face & neck
  • Bleeding from nose
Yes, we treat all these conditions medically and, if required, surgically.
  • Ear: Ear endoscopy, primary hearing test (for audiometry we refer)
  • Nose: Nasal endoscopy, Skin Prick allergy test
  • Throat: Videolaryngoscopy
We try to treat all conditions with medications. However, there are certain conditions that can only be treated surgically, such as long-standing middle ear infections, nasal septum deviation, nasal polyps, vocal cord cysts, etc.
  • Firstly, we determine whether the hearing loss is sudden or long-standing.
  • Secondly, we consider the age of the patient.
  • Thirdly, we identify the type of hearing loss. Depending on these factors, we decide on the appropriate management.
  • For middle ear infections and perforation in the drum, we perform tympanoplasty ± mastoidectomy.
  • For certain types of hearing loss, we may use implantable hearing devices.
